My idea for this project was to use a ceramic bottle and decorate it to look like my skull bottle was wearing clothes.
With Halloween just around the corner, it is time for all the creepy and spooky projects. We no longer celebrate Halloween as our kids are all grown, but they are still one of my favourite holidays to create for. I just pass them on to friends and family who do. I was cleaning out my kitchen cupboards the other day and came across this old teapot. It was purchased about 20 years ago at a car boot sale for £1 when I lived in the UK. Why I bought it I have no idea because I never drink tea. I hated the idea of throwing it away so I thought I would upcycle it into a steampunk-themed teapot.

Here in Australia Halloween has only become popular in the last few years. In our small town, you can not go trick or treating to any random house. You have to put up a display so people know you are taking part and will be handing out sweets. The idea behind this is that the old and the vulnerable do not feel intimidated by strangers knocking on their doors at night.
